Donovan David Goliath (true story) is a Caucasian looking coloured guy from Mthatha who speaks Xhosa (true story). His act includes a lot of storytelling and simple insights using various characters and impersonations to get his message across. He has rocked fesses like the Tshwane Comedy Nights at State Theatre, Soweto Comedy festival and Blacks Only.

    The year 1994 saw the birth of what would some twenty years later be one of the first comedic voices of the “Born Frees”.

    He may be the new kid on the block but Ebenhaezer Dibakwane has proven to already be a firm favourite amongst his peers. He walked away with the coveted Newcomer Award at the 6th annual Savanna Comic’s Choice Awards which took place on Saturday, 3rd September 2016 at the Teatro at Montecasino.

    With his fresh, clever and unusual take on politics and life, Dibakwane is one of the most exciting up-and-coming comedians on the scene at the moment.

    Recently becoming a more frequent face on the comedy scene some of Ebenhaezer’s highlights include recently opening for Dillan Oliphant, being part of the Stand Up 4 Comedy ensemble alongside Mo Mathebe and Virgil Prins, being billed on the line-up of Blacks Only and the Comedy Central International Comedy Festival alongside the likes of Trevor Noah, Jeff Ross and other South African greats.

    Ebenhaezer was recently invited to write sketches and perform on the latest hit sketch show, Bantu Hour which is co-hosted by Kagiso Lediga and Hugh Masakela and has also appeared on the ANN7 sports show, Game On.

      Isabella Jane & Rosie

      Isabella Jane & Rosie

      Based: Johannesburg.

      Isabella was the runner-up in SA’s Got Talent 2015 as a ventriloquist. Rosie is her side kick. She has since then been on Afternoon Express & the Expresso show. She hosted the show “A Night with the Stars” direction/produced by Mr Bryan Schimmel with the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra.

      She is working in Diepsloot with the Youth Crime Prevention Desk/SAPS to encourage and motivate young South Africans to make good choices. At present too, she is working with the Diepsloot Youth Programme and plans to take a choir from Diepsloot as a musical to the Grahamstown Arts Festival in 2017. Her project is called #upstandingcitizen

      Isabella has sung at an Official FIFA Fan Fest site, at corporate and private functions and many concerts. She is the youngest vocalist to sing with the Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra. During 2012 Belle sang with the Rand Symphony Orchestra and the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also sung at many corporate events.

      She has played the role of ‘Joey’ (baby elephant) in the People’s Theatre (Joburg Theatre Complex) also as Alice in their production of Alice in Wonderland. Cast as Miss Pepper in the Gingerbreadman sharing the role with her sister Alexandra. She was Fairy Flora at Peoples Theatre and the Roodepoort Theatre in Sleeping Beauty, and Ariel, in the Little Mermaid.

        Rasdien’s absurd yet thought-provoking stand-up comedy show tackles the touchy subject of evolution and how natural selection has blessed many of the figures that loom over South African life. Topics under scrutiny range from the devil and Charles Darwin to Julius Malema and Steven Hawking in a show that will make you laugh until tears are rolling down your face.

        Joey Rasdien is the face of a new generation of South African comedy. He is instantly recognisable thanks to his roles in movies such as Running Riot, Bunny Chow, Vaatjie Sien Sy Gat, Dollars and White Pipes, Outrageous Blitz Patrollie and “Material” with Riaad Moosa.

        Joey wrote, co-produced and acted in his own sitcom “Rasdien” which was flighted on SABC 2. In addition, he has performed in many major comedy festivals in South Africa and is a regular on the comedy circuit at the country’s leading venues. He also starred in the popular Last Laugh at The Lyric and The Pure Monate Show on SABC 1. Joey has also performed at the prestigious comedy venue Yuk Yuks in Toronto

        His experience in the financial industry is an advantage when relating to a corporate audience which makes him a sought after Facilitator/Entertainer at conferences and corporate events.

        Joey also appears on the smash hit DVD and CD “ Make the circle bigger” with HHP and JR.

          Kagiso KG Mokgadi

          Based: Cape Town. 

          Kagiso or KG as he is affectionately known is the quintessential comedy heavyweight. Influenced by old-school comedy greats and touted by his colleagues as an up and coming great, this Comics Choice Award winning stand up comedian will have you laughing from deep within your belly.

          He made his big stage performance at the Joburg Arts Alive Festival in the Comedy Nine-Nine showcase in 2012 and earned rave reviews from the audience members and organizers alike. Since then, he has become one of the most recognisable up and coming comics in South Africa.
          His easily relatable material, a minimalist delivery style and great comedic timing has made KG a regular and headliner at club, theatre, music festivals and corporate comedy stages around the country.

          Some of his performances include The Jive Funny Festival Cape Town and London, Keeping You In Stitches with Riaad Moosa, The Marc Lottering Roadshow, Blacks Only Comedy Show and many more. Comedy greats David Kau, Nik Rabinowitz and Australian comedian Jim Jefferies have entrusted him to be the opening act for their one man shows.

          He has become one of the top acts in South Africa and even though he’s a big guy already, he will be huge one day.
