    Amor Vittone

    Amor Vittone

    Based: Johannesburg.

    Amor Vittone’s journey in the entertainment industry started in 1998 with her debut album Wild Cherry Kisses. The album was distributed by EMI and includes both English and Afrikaans songs, as well as “Ti amo” an Italian song that celebrates her half Italian heritage.

    She followed up with the album like Dance in Colours (2000), Young Forever (2002) and Amor (2004)

    Her first Afrikaans CD, Voluit, was released in 2006 and distributed by Select Music.

    In 2012 Amor starred in a production of her own names Amorisque, along with a dance group in the Odeon Showbar at Emperor’s Palace in Kempton Park. The production ran for four months.

    Apart from her role as a singer and entertainer Amor is a choreographer and a regular Master of Ceremonies (MC) for public and private events. Her positive attitude, charm and elegance makes her a popular choice as a motivational speaker.

      Bongani Bingwa

      Bongani Bingwa

      Based: Johannesburg.

      Bongani Bingwa has worked on television on a variety of shows beginning in 1993 when he was still a student. He has hosted shows on business, entertainment and news. His career in journalism began on radio as a newsreader and talk show host. He joins the Carte Blanche team as a journalist and anchor for the Africa show. He has worked on Channel O, SABC English News, Your Own Business to mention a few, and of course, he is currently a presenter-journalist on Carte Blanche.

      Bongani joined the programme as an anchor for Carte Blanche Africa – the version of the show that is screened outside Southern Africa and abroad. There are viewers in the U.S. and Europe and the rest of Africa. His responsibilities include on the field reporting, script writing and research on stories.

      His background as a journalist includes a stint on Talk Radio 702 where he began as a News Anchor and progressed to hosting his own show – Talk at Nine. He has interviewed ordinary folks as well as international stars and leading politicians. Highlights include, Luther Van Dross, George Benson, Spike Lee, government ministers, opposition political leaders, authors and other high profile individuals – too many to mention!

      Bongani Bingwa was educated at Wits University where he studied for a B.A. degree majoring in History and English. Bongani has also completed various courses on Youth Development and has a strong passion for mentorship programmes that involve young people.

      Bongani is regularly asked to MC functions and events and always enjoy it.

        Chris Forrest

        Chris Forrest

        Chris Forrest has been on the forefront of the South African Comedy scene since the late nineties. His unique dry sense of humour, quick wit and intelligent comedy has made him one of the country’s most popular comedians and ensured that audiences are left in stitches wherever he goes.

        Equally at home MCing an evening or just doing a spot, Chris started out at the “Funny Farm” at what was then called the Randburg Waterfront, and has since gone on to perform on every worthwhile comedy club, showcase or festival in the country including South Africa’s premier comedy show: The 466 64 “It’s No Joke” comedy show as one of South Africa’s top 10 comics, he’s also a regular on the Heavyweight Comedy Jam, The Blacks Only Show and the Kingsize Comedy Show.

        International festivals include: The Edinburgh Festival, The Lyric Theatre in London, not to mention major festivals in Ghana, Botswana and Swaziland (really). In 2013 he hosted the prestigious Comics Choice Awards.

        Chris has also hosted his own episode of “Comedy Central Presents Live at Parker’s” and performed three successful one-man shows namely “Chris Forrest, He’s a really nice guy” which was recently broadcast on Comedy Central, “The Flipside” and most recently “The Guy from TV”

        As one of S.A comedy’s most versatile performers, Chris has worked in almost every facet of comedy, including; stand up comedy, improv comedy, sketch comedy (stage, TV and radio), sitcom, feature films, industrial theatre, numerous TV adverts, a comedy rap album and many more weird and wonderful things, Chris also prides himself in his ability to “cross over” having successfully entertained people of all races, religions colours and creeds, across the length and breadth of the country as well as internationally

          Conrad Koch

          Conrad Koch

          Based: Cape Town. 

          Conrad Koch is one of South Africa’s most in demand comedy talents. He combines hilarious comedy with world-class puppetry, and has done so for over fifteen years to local and international acclaim.

          Conrad was the winner of the 2010 Entertainer of the Year award, and of a 2012 Standard Bank Ovation Award from the National Arts Festival. He was a nominee for 2014 SA Comic of the Year, and won The Times Comic’s Pen Award for 2014, a double International EMMY nominated comedian.

          He has worked all over the world, been featured on local and international television and is a frequent guest at some of South Africa’s biggest comedy events – Mass Hysteria, Blacks Only, the Smirnoff Comedy Festival, the Vodacom Comedy Festival, Metro FM Comedy Experience, etc.

          His most famous character, Mr. Chester Missing, was a regular on eNCA’s Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola; and his hit one man shows have received standing ovations around South Africa. In 2015 Comedy Central Africa took him to Just For Laughs in Montreal, the world’s biggest comedy festival, where he recorded shows for both Comedy Central and Canada’s Comedy Network.

          Conrad has added a more quirky and developed character: from a talking air-sickness bag, to an ostrich made from feather dusters, as well as some hilarious a-political material for Chester Missing.
