Hailing from Cape Town, DJ LuvChild is a resident DJ at several city venues. With a career spanning years, he’s graced dance floors and festivals across Cape Town, other South African cities, and even internationally.

A Master of Many Styles. Renowned as one of South Africa’s most versatile club DJs, LuvChild has opened for a wide range of local and international acts, from Afro-House and Dancehall to Funk, Rock, Reggae, Drumstep, and Hip-Hop. His exceptional skills have even seen him open for three bands with entirely different genres in a single night, keeping each crowd moving!

From Early Talent to Multifaceted Artist

DJ LuvChild’s passion for music began at a young age, where he honed his craft at various events before taking the club scene by storm. Back then, he was one of the youngest DJs, holding his own alongside industry veterans. In recent years, DJ LuvChild has expanded his talents beyond the club booth. He’s now a skilled VJ, musician in a band, event coordinator, and even dabbles in music production.

CODA Africa and Beyond. In 2012, DJ LuvChild joined the acclaimed group CODA Africa, performing at many of South Africa’s top events. He’s often sought after to keep the party going after CODA’s sets and has become a go-to choice for festivals, major concerts, and corporate functions.
