Savannah Sun is an exciting party band that truly captures the essence of our beautiful rainbow country. Full of live and energy, Savannah Sun’s band members individually brings to the table over 15 years’ experience in the music industry. Covering the best of South Africa’s local music to current Top 40 tunes. Everything from Miriam Makeba, Mafikizolo, Micasa and Freshly Ground to Bruno Marz, Neyo, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie and Chris Brown. Savannah Sun specializes in getting a crowd on the dance floor and keeping them there! The band can be booked from a duo to a full live 5 piece band.

Megan Carelse and Steven Lee Lewis heads up the band and brings years of experience, energy and professionalism to the table. Steven is the first ever MOTOROKR STAR South African Winner, a worldwide competition where the winner went to New York and recorded a song with Wyclef Jean and Fergie from the Black-Eyed Peas. Steven is also an X-FACTOR South Africa winner with the group “Four” which took place in 2014. Steven was the opening act for One Direction, Nicki Minaj and Kool & the Gang.
Megan has sung and danced her way through iconic musicals such as Hair, Rent, We will rock you, Aspects of love, Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar. She is a familiar face on stage for some of the biggest corporate events as an entertainer and vocalist. Megan made the transition from theatre to film with ease as Stacy in Rhythm City, Tessa Ford in Cambion Chronicles, Roxy in Magic Moves, and can be seen most recently as Detective Charmaine Williams on Generations: The Legacy.
