Shekhinah

Shekhinah (born Shekhinah Thandi Donnell) is a South African singer-songwriter known for her soulful vocals and blend of pop and R&B influences.
She gained national recognition after reaching the Top 6 on Idols South Africa. Her debut album, “Rosegold,” went platinum and spawned several hit singles, including the chart-topping “Suited,” “Please Mr.,” and “Different.” Shekhinah’s success extends beyond awards (including multiple SAMAs and an MTV Africa Music Award) – she’s collaborated with international artists like John Legend and Toni Braxton, and consistently ranks among South Africa’s most streamed artists.
An advocate for female empowerment, Shekhinah founded the Rosefest platform, which showcases talented women in the South African music industry. She continues to release music, with her latest album, “Trouble in Paradise,” now available.
